- Available Capacities: 800 ml, 1500 ml, and 3000 ml, catering to various culinary needs.
Thermal Treatment: It is essential to perform thermal treatment to enhance the durability of pieces intended for stovetop or oven use.
Steps for Thermal Treatment:
- Coat the entire piece with oil (e.g., vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or lard), inside and out.
- The piece will darken after oil application.
- Allow it to rest for 12 hours.
- For Pans: Boil water in the pot for 40 minutes on low heat, gradually increasing the temperature.
- For Baking Dishes and Grills: Place in the oven at medium or low temperature for 45 minutes.
- Allow to return to normal temperature and repeat the process.
- Once completely cooled, the piece can be washed and is ready for use.
Important Care:
- Durability: Avoid thermal shocks that can cause cracks. Always heat gradually and let cool before washing. Do not place hot items on cold surfaces.
Cleaning:
- Soapstone utensils can be easily washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Use only warm water and soap with a soft sponge; DO NOT USE ABRASIVE PRODUCTS. If food residues remain, soaking the piece for 10 minutes will help release them easily.
Note: It is important to remember that stone is a natural material, and items made from natural stone may exhibit slight variations in colour or veining compared to the image shown. This uniqueness is what makes stone such a fascinating material, ensuring that each product is truly one-of-kind!
