To enhance the grill's heat resistance, it is necessary to perform a thermal treatment before first use.

Steps for Thermal Treatment:

1. Coat the Piece: Apply a layer of oil (e.g., vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or lard) over the entire surface of the grill, both inside and out.
2. Darkening: The piece will darken after oil application, which is normal and desired.
3. Rest: Allow the grill to rest for 12 hours for proper oil penetration.
4. Heating:
   • For Grills: Boil water on the grill for 40 minutes on low heat, gradually increasing the temperature.
   • For Baking Dishes: Place in the oven at medium or low temperature for 45 minutes.
5. Repeat Process: After returning to normal temperature, repeat the treatment to ensure durability.

Important Care:

          Durability: Avoid thermal shocks that can cause cracks. Always heat gradually and let cool before washing.

• Cleaning: Soapstone utensils can be easily washed by hand. Use only warm water and soap with a soft sponge; DO NOT USE ABRASIVE PRODUCTS. If food residues remain, soaking the piece for 10 minutes will help release them easily.
