Steps for Thermal Treatment:

1. Coat the Piece: Apply a layer of oil (e.g., vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or lard) over the entire surface of the tray, both inside and out.
2. Darkening: The piece will darken after oil application, which is normal and desired.
3. Rest: Allow the tray to rest for 12 hours for proper oil penetration.
4. Heating:
   • For Baking Trays: Place the tray in the oven at medium or low temperature for 45 minutes.
   • For Grills: Boil water in the tray for 40 minutes on low heat, gradually increasing the temperature.
5. Repeat Process: After returning to normal temperature, repeat the procedure to ensure durability.

Important Care:

• Durability: Avoid thermal shocks that can cause cracks. Always heat gradually and let cool before washing.
• Cleaning: Stone utensils can be easily washed by hand. Use only soap and water with a soft sponge; DO NOT USE abrasive products. If food residue remains, soak the piece for 10 minutes so that it comes off effortlessly.
