Thermal Treatment

To enhance the durability of the tray and ensure better cooking results, thermal treatment is essential.

Steps for Thermal Treatment:

1. Coat the Piece: Apply a layer of oil (e.g., vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, or lard) over the entire surface of the tray, both inside and out.
2. Darkening: After oil application, the piece will darken, which is normal.
3. Rest: Allow the tray to rest for 12 hours for proper oil penetration.
4. Heating:
   • For Trays: Place the tray in the oven at medium or low temperature for 45 minutes.
   • For Grills: Boil water on the tray for 40 minutes on low heat, gradually increasing the temperature.
5. Repeat Process: After returning to normal temperature, repeat the procedure to ensure durability.
